May empties!☺️

Hello everyone, I hope you have all had a lovely start to the week!

This week’s blog post shares the products that I have finished up this month, alongside a little review of each product, so let’s dive right in!

Wilko Dry Shampoo

I really wanted to love this dry shampoo product, as a cheaper alternative to my usual product, which is the Batiste dry shampoo. Sadly, it didn’t quite cut it for me. Yes, it had a heavenly scent and worked, but I just find that the Batiste product makes my hair feel a lot more fresh for a longer time. I found that Wilko’s version wasn’t enough for my hair, and I found myself having to top it up. So, I will not be repurchasing this product and will be returning to my other favourite.

Neutrogena Clear & Soothe Moisturiser

A few months back, I was struggling with some dry, red flaky skin on my forehead, so I picked up this and oh my, it was a miracle product! Within minutes of applying the product, my skin appeared less red and had definitely calmed down. I also love how nourishing this product was, and I loved the yellow packaging! I will repurchase this again, if my skin suffers with some red, dry skin, it is so good!

Nip & Fab Purify Salicylic Acid Gel Cleanser

This is another product that I really wanted to love. The pretty pink packaging is so cute, and you get a good amount of product. However, the pump packaging didn’t make the product travel friendly, and it just didn’t work for my skin. I didn’t notice any dramatic results within my skin, like I have done with other cleansers before. I won’t be repurchasing this product for those reasons, although there are many Nip+Fab products that I enjoy!

MAC Prep+Prime Fix Plus

This has been a holy grail setting spray for so long. I either spray it before applying makeup for a lovely dewy glow, or I spray it after my makeup and it just helps to melt the product into my skin. You get a great amount of product and I love the packaging design, as you can twist the top to lock it when travelling. Although, I love this spray, just so I can try different products from different brands, I won’t be repurchasing.

The Body Shop Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Glow Mask

I LOVE this mask. After use, it makes my skin feel so nourished and glowy, and really helps me to calm down troublesome breakouts. When you apply this mask, it it starts to slightly heat up, which shocked me at first but you soon get used to it. The only thing about this mask is the price, I actually bought this within their 3for2 sale, but otherwise I think its around £20. I would repurchase this product again, I liked it and it lasted a great amount of time.

Thank you again for reading this week’s blog post, as always I hoped you enjoyed it!
