Hello everyone, welcome back to another blog post!
I’m super excited about this one, as I am sharing with you today some Spring makeup essentials, not only do I love Spring/Summer, but I love makeup, so this was a joy to write and made me realise I should do one for each season?
Personally, I care less about about eye makeup and focus more on my base and face makeup, as I always find that my eyeshadow will just slide off in hotter temperatures, so here are five products that I love for my Spring time makeup look…

- Hydrating Primer
Priming your skin is an essential step before applying makeup, as the primer helps to minimise your pores, smooth skin, and keep your makeup in place. I love a light, dewy primer such as the Revlon Photoready Rose Glow Hydrating + Illuminating Primer in Rose Quartz, it is a great and affordable alternative to some of the pricier primers on the market. I apply a pea-size amount to my face, and once I have applied my foundation, I can see how glowy it makes my skin look.
2. Light Foundation
Around this time of year, I mix between keeping my skin natural and spot-correcting if needed, or wearing a light foundation. If I am wearing foundation, it will most likely be this gem from NARS. It is just so great at boosting your skins radiance and it lasts a great length of time! This foundation is perfect for the warmer weather, as it is light/medium coverage, but you can also build it up for a fuller coverage.

3. Cream bronzer
I only recently fell back in love with cream products, bronzers being one of them. I have picked the Soleil Tan De Chanel as it has just been the one I have been reaching for lately and it is a personal favourite. This cream bronzer is so easy to apply, blends beautifully and finishes your skin with a gorgeous golden glow, what more could you want?

4. Cream blush
Cream blush is a huge YES from me. I love it!! In particular I have been reaching for the Dr.Jart+ Multipurpose Soothing Balm with natural pawpaw. It is such a beautiful shade of peach/pink, blends so well and literally takes you seconds to achieve a lovely flushed complexion. I honestly think blusher tops any makeup look off, I cannot believe I never used to wear it!
5. Gloss
I do like a lipstick, but I have always been a gloss girl! They’re so easy to apply, makes your lips look so full and luscious and wears a lot easier than some lipsticks do after a few hours. Glosses are perfect for Spring as they make you feel put together, yet you still are wearing a natural look.
Thank you for reading this week’s blog post! I am a makeup fanatic, so this was a dream to write and share my Spring makeup must haves with you all!
What is your Spring makeup essential?
See you next Monday, Fran x
I love a gloss in spring! Feels more natural, especially when it’s a good, hydrating one.

I absolutely love Rose Glow! I got it in my subscription box last month and love the glow it gives me. The subscription boxes is the only way I’d be able to afford it so I use it very sparingly so it will last! And for me, all it takes is a tiny, pea-sized drop to give me the glow I need. ❤
