February Empties

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well!

This week has been so positive for me, I have had some exciting news which I shall share with you soon and I have also been able to plan and create lots of great content for both here and Instagram!

Here is my next instalment of my empty products from February! I know we aren’t at the end of February yet, but as it is the last week of Feb, I wanted to get this up! There is something so satisfying about finishing a product, or is it just me? 😅 I have some mixed opinions about these products, so let’s dive in and see what I thought…

Revolution Skincare 10% Niacinamide + 1% Zinc Serum

If you have been a continuous reader of my blog or you know me in person, you will know that I LOVE this serum! Holy grail. Will definitely re-purchase again. I love how it helps to keep my complexion less red and balanced in colour. I do have a review on this serum on my page, so check that out if you want a more in-depth review!

Maybelline LashSensational Mascara

Another favourite of mine, this mascara is so amazing at lengthening and adding definition to your lashes without clumping them together. It is also so affordable, so you really can’t go wrong! The wand is really good at grabbing your lashes too. I would definitely repurchase this again in the future, I love this mascara.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Gel Moisture Cream

Back when I purchased both this and the hydrating toner, I thought I was going to really love it and notice great differences however, I didn’t. I liked the consistency and gel texture of this moisturiser, and it also smells nice but I found that due to it containing oil, it would cause me small spots on my face and neck. So I know now that I have to use oil-free skincare products as my skin type is already oily/combination. So because of this, and because I would prefer to try something different, I won’t be re-purchasing.

The Body Shop Vitamin E Hydrating Toner

This was a really gentle and lovely toner to use, it helped to keep my skin soothed and refreshed in the winter months when I tend to become a lot more dry, especially around my forehead and eyes. I also enjoyed the pink packaging but unfortunately I won’t be repurchasing, simply because I would like to try other toners that target different skin concerns.

John Frieda Violet Crush for Blondes Shampoo and Conditioner

Firstly, I was so surprised that I finished both the shampoo and conditioner at the same time, I don’t think that has ever happened lol! When I saw that John Frieda had released a new range that helped natural blondes brighten their hair colour, I was straight to the shops to pick them up. I loved the purple colour of the products, it was fun and different, and I would agree that it did help slightly to brighten my hair and made it look less dull but not as much as I thought it would. I enjoyed using these products but I won’t be repurchasing for now.

So there were my February empties!

I hope you enjoyed reading this week’s blog post and found it interesting to see what products I have finished up using lately. Take care and I shall see you all on Monday for another blog post!

Lots of love, Francesca xx

  1. Have you also tried The Ordinary’s niacinamide serum?

The lash sensation mascara is so good!

I love The Body Shop’s mists – the best part they’ve moved to sustainable packaging – so their mists come in glass bottles. Love that they’re doing that!
