Hello everyone, I hope you are all well!
For the new year, I thought I would talk about some of the makeup products that are on my wish list and which I have had my eye lately on to try. Being in lockdown has meant I haven’t reached for my makeup bag as often, however, this year I definitely want to discover new products to find new favourites, so let’s jump right in!💖
All the product images are from Pinterest (one of my fave apps right now, so follow me if you aren’t already!)
Glossier Cloud Paint – £15
Towards the end of last year, I fell back in love with cream blushers, I love how natural and fresh they can make your skin and makeup look. I have heard Glossier’s is incredible – so it is definitely one that I have on my wish list. I also love the look of the packaging and Glossier’s overall aesthetic!
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation – £33.50
I have been using Revlon as my go-to foundation for the past year or so, and I’m ready for a change. There are so many foundations out there which I want to try, so I think this year I am going to start to branch out and truly find my favourite one. Despite it being more expensive than the usual foundations I have tried, sometimes you have to spend a little more on makeup items to receive glowing results. I have heard so many great things about this foundation, I love the fact it is buildable with a natural, glowing finish, as that’s exactly what I’m looking for in a foundation.
Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter Duo – £28
Rhianna’s makeup line has been so hyped over, and I am yet to get my hands on it! The products are more towards the pricier side, but all of them look so beautiful and so I think I will have to treat myself! 😉 This highlighter is said to be soft on the skin, and leaves your complexion glowing and looking fresh, I also love that it’s a duo product!
Maybelline Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara – £9.99
Benefit has been my go-to and is as actually one of my holy grail mascara’s, but I have seen this new mascara floating around on my social media, and the length and volume it is providing for others on promotion videos looks insane. I love a mascara that gives you body and length to your lashes, without clumping them, so I shall be trying this out next. Also how pretty is the packaging! 😍
Maybelline Colour Strike Eyeshadow Pen – £8
Now, this really caught my eye. This is Maybelline’s new Colour Strike Eyeshadow Pen, which is a cream-to-powder formula, that glides onto your eyes with no mess or mistakes due to the precise cushion tip. I love any sparkly liquid shadows for the eyes, as I feel like they last longer and have more pigment. You can create such effortless looks with liquid shadows, so I can’t wait to give this a go.
NYX Honey Dew Me Up – £15
This product looks like liquid gold, which is probably what attracted me to it, lol! I love NYX as a brand, and so when I saw that they had brought out a primer that reduces the appearance of redness and discolouration, I was really keen to note it down to try. I haven’t got round to purchasing it yet, as I have made a vow to myself to use and finish the products I already have before buying more. But I am really excited about this.
So there was my 2021 makeup wish list of the products I have had my eye on to try! Thanks for joining me again this week and reading, it means a lot! Hopefully I have given you some ideas of makeup to try, or you already love these products and can relate!
